Financial health is vitally important, especially for young college students who are setting the stage for the rest of their lives. As a family and divorce law office, Charlotte Christian Law has helped many families divide assets, and we’ve seen firsthand how finance management can affect a person’s entire life.
We’re interested in raising awareness of financial literacy, which is why we have started the Invest In Your Future Scholarship. Open to students at accredited institutions of higher learning, this scholarship is worth $2,500.
The Invest In Your Future Scholarship is open to any undergraduate or graduate student who can meet the following criteria:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Enrollment or acceptance at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
- Agree to the scholarship terms and conditions
- Submission of the required essay and application materials
How to Apply
Please review all eligibility requirements carefully, including those listed on the terms and conditions page.Then, craft an essay on the scholarship topic provided below.
Once your essay is complete:
- Fill out the application form on this page
- Upload a copy of your unofficial transcript
- Upload a copy of your scholarship essay
- Submit proof of enrollment/acceptance to an accredited college/university/graduate school (Student ID; Letter of Acceptance; etc.)
Scholarship Essay Topic
To be considered for the scholarship, please write a 500 to 1,000-word essay on the following topic:
“What are your short-term and long-term financial goals? How do you plan to achieve these goals? What financial strategies (such as budgeting, investing, saving, and debt management) do you intend to use, and why?”
The deadline to apply is June 15, 2022.
Applications received after the deadline will be discarded without consideration.
All submissions will be reviewed by our scholarship selection committee. Depending on the number of applications we receive, the decision process can take anywhere from one to three months.

2022 is the first year we are offering our annual Invest In Your Future Scholarship, but future winners will be listed here. Winners of the scholarship will be interviewed for a blog post and press release about their essay, life, and scholarship win.
