Jason Overton

Jason Overton is a dedicated and seasoned attorney with a strong foundation in law and a passion for serving his clients. A lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Jason grew up in Gardendale and attended Gardendale High School. He earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and philosophy at UAB. During his time at UAB, he became a proud member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, fostering connections and relationships that continue to this day.

Since graduating from Birmingham School of Law, Jason narrowed his practice to family law. He believes that the focus on divorce and custody matters allows him to become much more effective and knowledgeable than a general practice would allow.

Jason’s practice has spanned the state of Alabama, having been in courts from Lauderdale County to Houston County and most places in between. His genuine care for his clients and his extensive experience in family law allows him to provide tailored solutions that prioritize the well-being of families and individuals.

Jason is married to Sherree Overton, and they live in Walker County with their children and dogs. They have three children – Courtney, Chandler, and Bella – and one new grandbaby, Grayson.
