Jonathan was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Illinois in 2020 and joined the firm in 2022. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History and Law, Politics, and Society from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 2015 and then went on to receive his Juris Doctor in 2018 from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jonathan graduated with a concentration in International Human Rights Law and spent a year working as a student attorney in the school’s International Human Rights Litigation and International Advocacy Clinic. Jonathan’s work with the clinic contributed to several federal cases that addressed human trafficking and corporate human rights violations. Jonathan passed the Universal Bar Exam and acceptance into the Minnesota State Bar in 2018.
Jonathan began his journey in family law with an externship for the Honorable Judge Kevin Burke who emphasized the need to examine legal problems through various perspectives.
