Julie Borrelli

Julie Borrelli is originally from Washington County, Alabama, where she attended Leroy High School. Julie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after high school. After completing her educational requirements, she was commissioned as an Officer in 2004.
While on active duty, she completed two deployments to the Middle East with US Special Operations Command Central and with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit where she served as the Adjutant, Legal Officer, and Engagement Officer. She completed Basic Training, Officer Candidate School, The Officer Basic School, Expeditionary Warfare School before she retired from the Marine Corps in 2013.
After retiring from the military, Julie was selected for an appointment as Finance Director for the City of Anniston, Alabama. While serving in this role, she was responsible for a budget in excess of 50 million dollars annually, to include allocations of Rescue Act funding.
It was during this time that Julie was able to pursue her passion and graduated from Birmingham School of Law.
As an Attorney, Julie has served clients in the areas of Criminal Defense, Estate Law, Juvenile Law, Family Law, and acted as a Guardian Ad Litem. She was in private practice before accepting a position with The Law Offices of Charlotte Christian and Associates. Practicing law is her passion.
Julie serves on several boards to include the McClellan Development Authority, the Calhoun County Citizens Advisory Board, and the Calhoun County Sherriff’s Foundation.
Julie is married to Brannon Borrelli and together they have four children who attend White Plains Middle School and High School. When not in Court or focusing on law, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Julie’s educational background includes the following: a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from California State University San Marcos; a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from National University in La Jolla, California; a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University; and a Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law.
