Austin Hagood

Austin is an attorney with The Law Offices of Charlotte Christian and Associates and is based in Huntsville, Alabama. Austin practices family law, focusing on adoption, divorce, child custody, and visitation matters. He does this because he loves connecting with others and helping people in a personal way. Family law often involves the things that are most important to us. Austin hopes to not only advise his clients on legal issues but to truly act as a counselor, making sure that each of his clients’ concerns are listened to and addressed.

Prior to joining The Law Offices of Charlotte Christian and Associates, Austin was an associate attorney for four years with a large multi-state law firm based in the southeast. His prior legal experience includes litigation relating primarily to medical malpractice, pharmaceutical liability, and product liability. He also has assisted clients with healthcare regulatory compliance matters, which included navigating referral issues, HIPAA compliance, and physician contract negotiation.

Austin was raised in Huntsville and attended Birmingham-Southern College where he earned his BS in Psychology. Austin obtained his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, served on the managing board of the Law and Psychology Law Review, and was the captain of the Healthcare Transactional Moot Court Team for two years. Austin is also an Eagle Scout.

Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and cat. He loves running, chess, disc golf, and playing bass with the worship team at Rivertree Church.
