Alexis Killough

Alexis Killough is an Attorney with The Law Offices of Charlotte Christian and Associates in the Huntsville, Alabama office.
Alexis was born in Dothan, Alabama and raised in Odenville, Alabama, a small town near Birmingham. She moved to Huntsville after marrying her husband who is a Huntsville native. She always dreamed of going to law school to help the people around her. Her practice focuses on family law matters. Alexis believes there is nothing more personal, and therefore nothing more challenging, than trying to navigate the legal field when it comes to family relationships. She hopes to make all of her clients feel listened to, respected, and encouraged throughout the legal process and help families thrive in whatever form they take.
Prior to joining The Law Offices of Charlotte Christian and Associates, Alexis spent two years as a clerk for a state court judge in Huntsville, learning the ins and outs of legal practice and litigation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in English and Political Science and completed the University Honors in English program as well as the Honors College program. While in college, Alexis marched with the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band for four years. She then attended the University of Alabama School of Law.
While a law student, Alexis was the Executive Editor of the Alabama Civil Right and Civil Liberties Law Review. As a member of the Public Interest Student Board, Alexis was awarded the Order of the Samaritan for outstanding service to her community and the law school. She also served in the Civil Law Clinic and the Domestic Violence Clinic, providing free legal services to individuals in the Tuscaloosa area who could not otherwise afford help.
When she is not working, Alexis loves spending time with her husband, son, and cat, reading, and practicing yoga, and she is a self-proclaimed Disney nerd.
